What happens on the farm
Our sheep provided the wool for the main barn curtains and the apples grown in our cider orchard are used in the production of Thatcher’s cider. Prunings from the orchard also provide fuel for heating the barns in the colder months (and a little sustenance for insects and other wildlife too!).
With the help of our children we continue to run the farm alongside events at The Corn Barn. You can even grab a pint of Thatcher’s at The Corn Barn bar and taste some of the Batchelor family produce for yourself!
